Spring '25

Quality-of-life wins for admins, a rebrand for Sales Cloud forecasting, and a first look at Agentforce in Service Cloud.

The Salesforce Spring release is no exception to the season: it's about renewal. As with every major release, there are mandatory updates happening behind the scenes — as a Fluent Care subscriber, we've reviewed all of the relevant changes and they'll be applied to your Salesforce products.

What we think matters most

Quality-of-life enhancements for admins

A suite of tools aimed at making admin life simpler and more efficient: refreshing specific dashboard widgets without reloading the entire dashboard, multi-column sorting for list views and related lists, and moving the Edit List Filters option into the filter menu to tidy up the list interface. Custom field limits for activities also rise from 100 to 300, letting you capture and manage more data seamlessly.

Sales Cloud innovations: forecasting and beyond

A new era of forecasting arrives with the rebranded Pipeline Forecasting, alongside Consumption Forecasting: comprehensive data analysis and real-time updates that improve forecast accuracy, including the ability to predict revenue based on customer usage patterns.

Service Cloud spotlight: Agentforce

Agentforce blends AI with human touchpoints in customer service, with real-time AI-driven insights and supervision through Omni Supervisor. Critical conversations that need a human can be flagged and handed over smoothly, and Agentforce taps into your existing Knowledge Base to speed up query resolution with context-rich responses.

Account Engagement's enhanced CMS integration, and the end of Enhanced Email

Support for the Enhanced Email Experience (Account Engagement's Lightning Email Builder) is gradually being phased out, though not completely in this release. Starting with Spring '25, you can transfer emails, files, forms and landing pages to Salesforce CMS via API, making it easier to share across business units, and CSS can now be grouped for reuse across landing pages. We'll keep monitoring what Salesforce retires next and let you know the options if you're affected.
