Summer '24
The features that stood out from the Summer '24 release, plus a reminder that Process Builder's retirement is real.
The Summer '24 rollout has been finalised, and some great new features are now available as a result. As with all major Salesforce updates, there are also mandatory release updates and changes happening behind the scenes — as a Fluent Care subscriber, we've reviewed all of the relevant changes and they'll be applied to your Salesforce products. This release's focus is heavier on technical and development updates, including several improvements to Flow automations.
What we think matters most
Add company and buyer information to contacts automatically
This Einstein feature reviews email correspondence linked with account records to determine which contacts are the key buying contacts, creating a buyer relationship map to help you close deals. Requires Einstein Activity Capture to be enabled in your Salesforce instance.
Pipeline Inspection improvements
Update up to 200 opportunity records at once from the Pipeline Inspection view, and add opportunity products or create quotes directly from the same page.
Einstein Account Management
Track lead metrics from existing account records: a breakdown of leads by industry, source or status, plus lead conversion rates, viewable directly from the account record page. May require additional licensing.
Reminder: Process Builder retirement
Salesforce no longer supports Process Builder or Workflows as automation tools for new automations. If you'd like to talk through what a migration from Process Builder to Flow would look like, including opportunities for new automations, we're here to help.
