Summer '26
While we're in winter, Salesforce is bringing the heat with updates across Flow, Marketing Cloud Next and more.
We're well into winter here in Australia, which means our friends in the northern hemisphere are heading into summer, and so is Salesforce. The Summer '26 release is packed with updates that make the platform feel more intuitive and more yours. Flow gets a meaningful set of improvements for logic and layout, Marketing Cloud Next takes some big strides towards feature parity with classic Marketing Cloud, and reports and dashboards can now reflect your brand. As a Fluent Care client, you can rest easy: our team is reviewing tests and optimisations, and we'll be in touch if your org requires any substantial changes.
What we think matters most
A better experience in Screen Flows
Two improvements make Screen Flows cleaner and easier for your users. The new Radio Button Group component replaces old-style radio inputs with larger, more visually appealing buttons that are easier to read and interact with. Meanwhile, data tables now support record name display and hyperlinks, so users can click straight through to the records they need without leaving the flow.

Marketing Cloud Next email builder upgrades
Several long-awaited features are landing in the MCN visual builder this release. Plain text versions of emails can now be created directly in the builder. Custom fonts give you more control over brand expression in email. AMPscript arrives in MCN, bringing it into alignment with classic Marketing Cloud and letting you retrieve and display CRM data directly in email content. And Salesforce Objects are coming as a personalisation source, which should open up much richer data-driven content — one to watch.

Brand-aligned reports and dashboards
Reports and dashboards can now be styled with your brand's colour palette, making the data you share with your team feel cohesive and professional rather than out of the box. Alongside this, the number of row-level formulas available in reports has doubled, giving you significantly more flexibility to work with your data directly inside Salesforce.

Important update for users with elevated permissions
Salesforce is tightening requirements around user credentials and platform access for anyone with elevated permissions or profiles, such as System Administrators. If any of your users are affected, we'll reach out directly with instructions on what to do next.
